Applied AI Education · Est. 2024

Learn to build AI agents. Not just use them.

Cohort-based courses for professionals and developers who want to ship real agent systems — not memorise prompt tricks. Taught by a published AI author and a cognitive scientist with two decades each in applied AI.

Why Retured exists

Most AI courses stop at prompting. We start at building.

The AI industry has moved past “best model” and past “best prompt.” The work that matters now is building agents that take real action — with the orchestration, tools, evaluation, and judgment that requires. That’s what we teach.

— 01

The 2026 curriculum, not the 2023 one

Agent orchestration, tool design, long-horizon execution, fine-tuning, synthetic data, evaluation harnesses. Not “prompt engineering” wrapped in a new title.

— 02

Cohorts, not content libraries

You learn live, alongside other builders, with Dr. Kapoor answering your specific questions in real time. Recordings exist — but the room is where the learning happens.

— 03

You leave having built something

Every cohort ends with a working agent in your hands. Not a certificate of attendance, not a slide deck. Something you can run, demo, and iterate on.

The people teaching

Two teachers, two decades each in applied AI, one shared conviction: that building real agent systems is a skill that has to be taught honestly, with the grounding most courses skip.

In their own words

Why we built Retured

Narotam Singh

M.Sc. Cognitive Neuroscience & Electronics. Co-founder, Retured.

I have spent much of my career working with technical systems, data, and training in environments where precision matters. Over time, I kept seeing the same pattern: people were being asked to use increasingly complex tools without being given a clear way to understand them.

That gap is one of the reasons we built Retured. I wanted to help create a place where professionals can learn AI without hype, intimidation, or empty jargon. The goal is not just to make people comfortable with new tools, but to help them think clearly about what these systems can do, where they fail, and how to use them responsibly in real work.

If someone leaves a Retured course able to apply what they’ve learned with more confidence and better judgment, we’ve done our job.

Dr. Amita Kapoor

AI author, keynote speaker, and applied AI engineer. Co-founder, Retured.

I have spent most of my career moving between rigorous teaching, research, and applied AI work, and one pattern has stayed constant: people are eager to use these tools, but very few are given the depth or clarity to use them well. Too much AI education stays at the level of demos, jargon, or borrowed excitement.

I wanted to build something more honest and more useful. Retured is my way of bringing together what I care about most: strong fundamentals, practical experimentation, and the confidence that comes from building with guidance.

Whether you are an educator, a working professional, or a technical learner, my goal is simple: help you understand what AI is good at, where it breaks, and how to use it thoughtfully in the real world.
